These tips help you get the most out of the Construction Software Thailand desktop program. They are based on the latest features, including bilingual support, lookup windows, and improved list management.
- Save Often: Always click the Save button after making changes. This ensures all your updates (including totals and notes) are stored safely in the database.
- Use Project Templates: Mark a project as a template (status = Template). Then copy it for new projects to reuse components, materials, and tasks quickly.
- Work with the Lookup Window: Press Add Item or double-click / Enter in the Lookup form to add components, materials, or tasks from your library. It supports both English and Thai search.
- Filter Materials When Needed: Turn on the Filter Materials checkbox to show only items without transactions. Turn it off to see everything and reorder with Move Up/Down.
- Reorder Items Easily: Use the right-click menu or Move Up/Down buttons to change the order of components, materials, or tasks. This controls how they appear in reports and schedules.
- Show or Hide Notes: Use the checkboxes (Show Notes) to display note columns when you need them, or hide them for a cleaner view.
- Schedule Projects Smartly: From the Actions menu, choose scheduling options (every day, weekends only, etc.) to automatically fill dates based on tasks.
- Copy Entire Projects: Use the Copy Project feature to duplicate a project, including all components and items. Great for similar jobs.
- Link to Transactions: Materials can now link to purchase or stock transactions. The color highlights (yellow/blue/green) show the latest transaction status at a glance.
- Switch Languages Smoothly: The program now fully supports English and Thai. All captions, search boxes, and field names change automatically.
- Navigate Faster: Double-click a project in the list to open it. Use the Up/Down scroll buttons to move through long project lists without the mouse.
- Export When Ready: Click Export Materials to prepare lists for printing or sharing (full export options coming soon).
- Keep Totals Accurate: The summary panel (Total, Hours, Materials, Tasks) updates automatically. If numbers look off, click Save and refresh.
